Since 2004 when we established Hooves & Paws we have had to say good bye to some much loved friends, sadly as animals have a shorter life span than we do we must be prepared for them to leave us sooner than we would wish the memories they leave behind serve to enrich our lives
Simba, nick named Slimline sausage, he was a gentleman among dogs giving love came as naturally as breathing,
seen in his best bib & tucker at the recent wedding
passed away 12th January 2009 Much loved
So small, so bald, so Archie
So big in personality,
So big a part of our lives
Oh so much we will all miss him
To short the time we had with him
Archie was taken with out warning
by the Angels 18th May 2009
How lucky are we to have had the
privilege to share time with him.
Ladi Di of MM who passed away on Monday 22nd December 2008
She was an American Miniature, much loved & with the
sweetest of natures, pictured here as Kelly's
Special flower girl at her recent wedding
Sire, Uranus Light Vant Huttenest Dam, Josie of MM
Monty, brother of Simba & his constant companion. Busy, Very Busy was the word to discribe this loving little man who passed away
25th May 2008
Isla, This special little cat who was only with us for a short time. her joy was to be as high up as she could be & then to jump down onto your shoulders, give you agood wash till you face was sore, she was just kissing. .
Mrs Sharples who has gone
But leaves paw prints on our hearts for everer.
Mortimer, grazing with his sister Margie, They traveled the long journey from down south to be with us in Scotland, both in OAP's they were insperable, she grieved so badly we thought we would loose her too but she found a way to carry on.
It was a hot afternoon with lots of children on the yard when we lost this brave man, the children made gifts & wrote letters for me to put in his grave, it is sad for them to see such nobility in death but they matched his bravery & all came to say their final good by.
Ted.
Standing 18.2hh he was the most gentle of big men.
What I would call an old soul.
In the short time we had him he touched our lives & our hearts profoundly, if you described perfection in a horse he was all that & more, we were privileged to have the opportunity to know him & care for him,
.
Animals enrich life, have therapeutic energies, give unconditional love
I wish we could say that about more things in life!.
Give Lavishly! Live Abundantly
The more you give, the more you get
The more you laugh, the less you fret
The more you do UNSELFISHLY
The more you live ABUNDANTLY
The more of everything you share
The more you'll always have to spare
The more you love, the more you'll find
That life is good, and friends are kind
For only WHAT WE GIVE AWAY, ENRICHES US FROM day to day
